Description	:	When Carabid was quite pregnant she suffered a fractured leg. The injury was terribly serious - the vet said he'd never seen a fracture like it - and yet the farm owners, Anne Morgan and Tim Little, could not bare to euthanize the heavily in-foal mare. They decided to nurse her through her pregnancy, after which she would be euthanized.
