I never would've guessed this existed! I wonder if it's still around? Another reason to love Louisiana ... old run down buildings are so great to photograph.

Hey lexington, Nice to 'see' you. :) Naa, I'm afraid Jefferson Downs was torn down (and rebuilt, I heard) perhaps 6? years ago. I sat on the levee one day down there watching them bulldoze some of the barns. A strange feeling. Louisiana is great, though, isn't it! I wish I had more opportunity to visit there.
